Sass and Bide A/W 2010-2011 Highlights

The Australian brand, Sass & Bide have a trademark style that is always at the core of their appeal. Built upon a palette of black and white with gold and bronze detailing, the collection calls to mind body armour, strong detailing, shouldered, and breast plates. The beading and embellishment, stones, shells, and studs makes the stunning series wearable but cool tribal-inspired dresses.

I don't know why, but the Sass & Bide A/W 2010 look is really reminding me of Daphne Guinness. I think it's the voluminous height of the hair (signature Daphne), plus the two-tone effect that the metallic headpiece creates.

From a distance it mirrors Daphne's Cruella de Vill black and white style

and if you look at the make up, a rich berry lip isn't the most original colour for A/W, but it works; against the minimal makeup palette, it looks flawless. What do you think of it all?

Florals

I've been so busy lately for university and stuffs, so here I am, in Sydney. Well, things are just 'okay' right now, but somehow, I feel kinda lonely. I miss home, I miss my boyfriend, I miss my girls, I miss everyone that are not here. Never thought it would be this hard, really. In the other hand, I keep telling myself the positive sides. I'm not a little girl anymore, and it's not like it's the end of the world or something, the only thing I need to do is adapting, plus find a lot a lot of new friends! You know, sometimes you gotta quit thinking so much. If it feels right, it probably is. So just go with it. Be happy. Be busy. Be active.

Here's a set of pictures I took in my hometown. I found this old flowery skirt in my closet, I think I bought it when I was in junior high, lol. Paired it with a basic black long sleeves, and belt. And oh! My dear friend did my hair like this, does it suits me? No? Been playing with the nerdy glasses also ;)

Army in Nude

OH MY GOD. Today's the day.. 18 more hours then I'll be off to Sydney. I feel so nervous yet excited! Living in other country without parents, staying at the apartment, going to new school, and making new friends.. I'm totally ready!

Today, I took some outfit pictures with my friend. I'm mixing nude drapery top with green army pants that i bought in Singapore recently. Here it goes....
